Katy Cashin

A Bit About Me

Katy Cashin brings her experience in operations, fundraising, event planning, and performance arts to OpB as the Director of Operations. She fundraised for Columbia University for seven years, as well as planned SIPA's galas raising with her team up to $3.3M in one event. She believes in the power that OpB could bring to democratize optimization technology across different industries and sectors. Katy is a professional choreographer creating more than 20 dance pieces for companies in NYC and beyond. Her work was selected to represent the Tallahassee Ballet at the Corps de Ballet International Conference in 2019 as well as "First Look" presented by Brooklyn Ballet. 

Katy received her BFA in dance performance and BA in history from Southern Methodist University, and later, her Master's in Public Administration from Columbia University. Along with OpB, Katy is a Twitch affiliate streamer (on hiatus), currently living with her husband, Alec, in Brooklyn, NY.
